Hi, I'm Samantha.
I’m an early childhood educator in Illinois with experience across both corporate childcare and nonprofit early childhood settings. I hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and am continuing my education in Early Childhood Education.
I created The Balanced Early Educator because I know what it feels like to love this work and still feel completely burned out by it. There was a time when I felt disconnected from the educator I wanted to be, and it took me a while to find my rhythm, confidence, and excitement for teaching again.
As I worked through that experience, I realized how difficult it can be for early childhood educators to find the support they need. Helpful resources, funding opportunities, professional guidance, and honest conversations about burnout are often scattered or hard to access.
I want The Balanced Early Educator to be the kind of support I needed during that season, a welcoming place where educators can find practical resources, encouragement, new opportunities, and reminders that they are not alone.
